Yeshiva University
Yeshiva University ranks among one of the leading academic research organizations. It incorporates the rich heritage of the western civilization, along with the ancient customs of Jewish laws and their lives.
Yeshiva Universities’ undergraduate schools and departments include:

The university encourages academic as well as scientific research. It issues publications; outreach projects and sponsors various academic services. The University also boasts of a Museum, which exhibits the journal Jewish life through art in different forms, architectural style, culture and history.
The university has about 7,000 students, studying at one of the one of the four campus of the university. The campuses are, Brookdale Center in Manhattan, the Wilf Campus, the Jack and Pearl Resnick Campus in the Bronx and the Israel Henry Beren Campus.
History
The University of Yeshiva actually traces its origins to Yeshiva Eitz Chaim, which was found in 1886 on New York's Lower East Side. In 1929, the university moved to its present Wilf Campus in Manhattan's Washington Heights. In 1928, Liberal arts programs began with the foundation of Yeshiva College and in 1935 the first graduate curriculum, which was in Jewish studies, was introduced. From there onwards the university grew rapidly as many courses and studies were added subsequently.
Administration
The administration board of Yeshiva University comprises of a President, Chancellor, Vice President of university life, Vice President for University Affairs, Vice President for Institutional Advancement, Executive Director of University Communications, Dean of the Center for the Jewish Future and other such posts.
Programs of study
The undergraduate courses for women include courses like, arts, Bible, biology, economics, French, entrepreneurship, computer science, political science, physical education, mathematics etc. while the courses for men are accounting, chemistry, computer science, foreign languages, political science, international business, real estate, speech and drama etc. At the graduate level, we have different schools providing different programs. For example the Albert Einstein School of Medicine Academic Departments offers courses on biochemistry, medicine, anatomy and structural biology, cardio thoracic surgery, family and social medicine and others. Similarly, the Cardozo School of Law has courses on intellectual property law, comparative legal thought, conflict resolution etc.
Technology
The university promotes usage of computers to help in education and spreading technology. The faculty and students are provided latest technology and state of art computers to aid in teaching as well as learning. They have an Academic Computing Division of Management Information Services to maintain the equipments and technology tools in classrooms and on campus for students and faculty. Libraries and museums
The libraries of Yeshiva University are, General and Jewish Studies Libraries and Medical Library Law Library. They also have a Yeshiva University Museum in the campus.
Student Life
The campuses have excellent in-campus facilities. The athletic department of Yeshiva University is quite efficient and various sporting events are organized round the year. The Department of Physical Education and Athletics, offers all undergraduate students of Yeshiva University, Sy Syms School of Business and Stern College for Women lots of scope for enjoying sports in terms of classes, programs and activities to maintain their physical wellness, fitness, and sporty needs.
The department of food services is a dedicated department at the university and quite popular with the students. They conduct kosher operations.
They have an undergraduate health program to provide basic health services to students at no cost. The campus has good medical facilities on campus as well as hostels and is well equipped to meet any emergencies.
