Description

Zango's Headquarters

Zango.com distributes the zango software program.Zango is an ad ware program that displays targeted advertisements that are targeted in a way that is considered spy-ware. [[1]] [[2]].Zango is usually bundeled with other useful programs that the user can download for free, but unlike similar programs Zango has a history of being deceptively installed.[[3]]Zango was renamed from 180 solutions. According to Wikipedia, Zango "usually lures web surfers into downloading their products by acting as a protective gateway to free content. For example, it would say 'Click continue to download Zango and gain access to this sexy video'".And that zango "manufactures adware typically downloaded in the form of games," Digital Rights Management "protected videos and software for download such as Zango Messenger." [[4]] Zango.com says that that zango "is a new way to access free programs and tools to make life a little easier and lots more fun. With Zango, you get to play free games, download valuable programs and enjoy some of the most interesting sites on the web. There are no fees, no subscriptions and no trial periods — with Zango everything is always completely free and safe!" [[5]] StopBadware.org says that Zango "is not badware, although it does engage in behaviors that users should be aware of."[[6]] Zango claims that they offer a vast network of free ad-supported games, videos and downloads powered by proprietary and revolutionary time-shifted advertising technology. Zango allows users, publishers, content providers and advertisers to connect within one unique online community. But the main purpose of the zango programs is to install the Zango adware.
