Zenzibar Alternative Culture
Zenzibar Alternative Culture was an alternative portal and directory of alternatives to Western mainstream culture. Zenzibar was created to make alternative culture sites and information easily accessible. Unfortunately, after running the site for nearly four years, the funding ran out and ad sales dried up. The business, Zenzibar, LLC, has been dissolved.
Royce Carlson has retained ownership of the zenzibar.com domain and will continue to run the site has his personal web site. It will still contain some of the features of the old Zenzibar including the Alternative Culture Directory and ZNN Alternative News. Also listed on the Zenzibar home page are links to Royce's steel sculptures, Juanita Hull-Carlson's concrete sculptures, and other personal stuff.
I apologize to all the faithful Zenzibar readers and supporters for having to discontinue the operation of Zenzibar as a business. I thank you for sticking with us over the years and hope you will still find value in visiting Zenzibar even though it has changed.
