ZFx is a technology consulting company made up of a unique and talented collection of professionals from varied technical and creative backgrounds. We have been in business since 1990 and have been involved with the Internet since 1991.
ZFx was founded in 1990 by David Sieg, who returned to Tennessee after 10 years working in the motion picture industry in Los Angeles. Sieg was V.P. of R&D for Omnibus Computer Graphics, where he managed software development on 3D animation software, as well as contributing special effects work in several feature films. Using the Internet at a time when few had heard of it, ZFx was established as a 3D animation shop, working with international clients via the network, and continued developing visual software. In 1994, ZFx started the region's first ISP, tricon.net, and learned first-hand the frantic pace of the Internet's growth, as well as the new demands it places upon companies to provide excellent technical support and build customer loyalty in the Information Age. Out of this background, ZFx developed the OZX software, now in use by hundreds of clients across North America. Our flagship product, the Business Center enables the rapid development and deployment of custom complex interactive websites and Internet-based applications.
Zfx continues to provide state of the art hosting and software development, digital media production in all delivery formats, and consulting and project management for a wide variety of clients.
