- It began in 1977 when Wayne Walker needed a gas line for his 1961 fuel injected Corvette. A friend showed him how to bend and flare steel tubing for the line. Walker put his car back on the road with his new line, and soon had requests from other Corvette friends also in need of fuel lines.
