- After going to school for carpentry, I completed an 8000 hour apprenticeship with a Colonial and Victorian renovation company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I then moved to Boulder, Colorado, where I was the foreman for a construction company that built multimillion dollar homes. Next, I started my own construction company and moved to Montana where I built custom homes. Many of my clients were from Texas. That inspiration, plus having family in Austin, brought me to my permanent residence. Truly, Austin is home.
