- About Us
- Abbey Solutions was established in 1999 by John Abbey. The consultancy provides high quality innovative solutions to charities, NGOs, Foundations, companies, and individuals. We focus on fundraising, communications, strategic planning, research, recruitment and advising donors on funding.
In 2005 Abbey Solutions began working internationally, helping NGOs with their strategic planning and fundraising, project evaluation and communications. Our first assignment was in Bosnia & Herzegovina, closely followed by Poland, working with NGOs, International Organizations and government. Our international services have expanded in the last two years supporting NGOs as far away as India and China. In response to a growing demand for our services in Eastern Europe, we established our first European office in Poland in 2008. We also have a country representative in Bosnia & Herzegovina, based in Sarajevo. We envisage significant growth in our international work over the coming years.
In the UK we continue to support some fantastic organizations from children's charities, environmental causes to supporting charities helping serving and ex-service personnel. We have also helped local authorities develop bids for central government funding. In 2005 Lambeth Council won an e-innovation award from the ODPM which Abbey Solutions developed and implemented.
Philanthropic Support
With our expertise and experience it was a natural progression to begin supporting donors. We are ideally placed to support organizations that donate funds to projects across the world.
