The HAL lists Magyar Amerikai ListĂĄk have been created to serve the community with information of Magyar (Hungarian) interests. It is intended to provide a general medium for those interested in expressing, sharing, and exchanging their views, ideas, and feelings about Hungarians and Hungarian culture. Posting to the lists about Hungarian events in the United States is strongly encouraged. The group is a mixed language Magyar or English group. Anyone, regardless of race, ethnic origin, religion or political belief can post to the HAL Hungary list. This list is to promote understanding between Hungarians while emphasizing our common cultural heritage and also, making Hungarian culture better known for non-Hungarians. Our archive contains old letters and some other documents sent in by listmembers. For more information about the HAL Hungary list, please, read our FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions).
