Description
The company collects data from international regular, low-cost and charter flights departing from France. In addition, this also includes domestic flights with connection abroad. By the beginning of 2007 AIR VALID will extend to include airline companies in others European countries. AIR VALID provides administrative, commercial and technical information about the airline companies in its database.
AIR VALID is currently discussing partnership with institutions that provide information on the "financial health" of airline companies which is later made available to travelers.
AIR VALID also asks passengers who have used travel agencies and tour operators about their level of comfort and “sense of security” during their flight. AIR VALID does this by providing their partners with a 30 question form, with a possible score from 0 to 20 for each question. No passenger comments are solicited beyond the question scores.
AIR VALID makes available its database of information to tourism businesses so that they can provide better information to airline passengers before they buy their tickets. This complies with the European Parliament and to the 17 March 2006 decree number 2006-315.
AIR VALID is the first data base of information about aeronautical companies which gathers:
Economic and organizational information
Consumer feedback regarding their level comfort and security.
A report on the “financial health” provided by a certifying institution.
Thanks to AIR VALID’s technology, this information is provided to traditional and online tour operators and made available for their customers prior to making a reservation.
