I started this company in September 2000 for two reasons, firstly to be able to work from home whilst taking care of our 5 year old and 2 year old sons, as it is important for me to be here for them, and secondly to provide patterns which are different, realistic, modern and unique, as so many of the patterns I have seen do not appeal to my taste, or would not suit my home, or just don't have that personal touch.
I also try to provide this for the cheapest price I can offer as I was sick of paying around $10 to $20 per pattern and then having to buy aida, cottons etc on top of that. I want to create patterns which everyone has the budget to enjoy. I do not make a huge amount of money from this website because my prices are so low but so long as I can pay the bills and donate to Unicef I am happy and I really love to create these patterns.
