C³'s story began in 1993 when Atlanta lawyer Mark Deininger traveled to Eastern Europe to explore patentable technologies to commercialize in the United States. Mr. Deininger explored thousands of technologies, even traveling to scientific centers never before visited by a foreigner. His interest was piqued by what is now known as MIST technology and, after several years of negotiations, he acquired the rights from the original inventors. C³ International, LLC is governed by three bodies.
