Fighting fires and saving lives! The City of Pittsburg has a new fire station operated by Contra Costa Fire District. Station No. 85, located at 2331 Loveridge Road opened for service on Friday, December 18, 2009. The new 5,887 square foot fire station features two drive-through apparatus bays, state-of-the-art exhaust removal system, living quarters for a crew of three and a Battalion Chief, a medical decontamination room, and exterior decontamination station for firefighters’ clothing.
