The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce as the president of the environmental commission of the ASCAME, is planning an environmental week in Alexandria – Egypt during the period from 13-16June 2009. The event which is under the auspices of H.E. Dr. Ahmed Nazif, The Prime Minister of Egypt will include a symposium on "SELECTED ENVIROMENTAL ISSUES IN THE MEDITERRANEAN REGION"at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and an awareness campaign aimed at improving environmental behavior.
