This course invites you to engage in a semester-long research project about a controversial issue in your major. Through a series of formal, revised papers, you will practice strategies for posing questions, researching issues, weighing evidence and finding your own answers. You will also learn the conventions for reporting your research and for building a case for your conclusions.
