dmlights.nl is one of the biggest webshops for lighting and lighting-related products of the Netherlands. The company was founded in 1979 by Paul De Meutter. It grew very quickly. Less than 20 years later, the company had 22 employees and distributed more than 8.000 products from its 1,500-sq.m. warehouse. In 2004 the webshop was launched. Soon after the launch it was already abundantly clear that the e-shop was a smart move. By 2011 the online store generated 50% of the company’s overall turnover.
Nowadays, dmlights offers more than 40.000 products from more 100 brands. You'll find pendants, table lamps, recessed lights ... from famous brands such as Flos, Fontana Arte, &tradition, Tom Dixon, Kartell, Philips and Foscarini. All products are shipped worldwide.
