We started our shop in 2002 on a small scale in the beautiful resort of Mirissa. which has one of the best beaches on the south coast of Sri Lanka. Our fashions, especially fisherman's trousers and batik were a great hit with the tourists. Everything was going well for us at first. Business was more good in 2004 but then on 26 December 2004 the tsunami tidal wave hit the coast of Sri Lanka causing huge devastation and loss of life.
