Our church is affiliated with over 12,800 other Nazarene churches in the U.S.A., Canada, and in over 143 World Areas. This group of churches began in 1908 in Pilot Point Texas. Our name "Church of the Nazarene" is taken from Jesus, who was from Nazareth. We are a church that seeks to follow Jesus. Today the international church has more than 1.4 million members and 742 missionaries as well as colleges and compassionate ministry centers.
