Excerpted from the website: The Greek words "Halas" and "Phos" mean "Salt" and "Light".
We got the name for our business and our Web Site from Matthew 5:13-16 which talks about being a witness to the world around us. We sell some of the finest Christian apparel and gifts from "Kerusso®", which is the Greek word for "Proclaim!". Together with Kerusso®, our mission is to be Salt and Light to our community and to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel to the world.
Since our companies birth we have added five more brands: Disciple Shades®, Thomas Nelson Publishers®, Gardenfire®, Indelible Creative Group® and Chi Rho Apparel®. We have also added another website called Salt and Light Christian Mall where we carry five brands: Eternal Light®, Living Epistles®, Scripts Footwear®, Amazing Grace Inspirational Gifts® as well as Chi Rho Apparel®.
