Headwater Wool has been established in Hillsburgh, Canada year of 2003. Town of Hillsburgh is located in the heart of Headwaters region - the source of three rivers: Humber, Grand and Credit - that carry waters across Southwestern Ontario.
Igor - "The Wool Dude" - is the president of Headwater Wool. He goes miles to establish direct contacts with vendors and once in year he visits woolen mills to check the production of yarns. Igor established his own line of 100% woolen yarns for Headwater Wool. He learned continental knitting in 2 days and when he has time he knits scarves, hats, mitts and socks. Igor holds Master degrees in Business Administration and Physics.
Larisa – a knit and crochet garment designer for Headwater Wool. She is also a person who talks to you over the phone and responds to your e-mails. Come visit her in Oakville store and she will be very glad to help you with your knitting and crochet projects. Larisa runs workshops in CSNF, DKC and other knitting shows in Ontario, Canada. Larisa is a former computer programmer and data analyst.
