Description
After 25 years experience in the mattress ticking business, Carolina Fabrics, Inc. assumed the operations of Melville Textile Print Works having over 80 years experience in Screen Printing with an established name within the industry. We are operating the same but refurbished equipment with selected personnel at the same location and would like to be considered for any of your printing or finishing needs.
One of the main attributes of our facility is that all the equipment can handle tricot, woven, and non-woven constructions in widths up to 110" with weights from 1 to 12 ounces per square yard. Each of our two Rotary Screen Print Ranges is presently capable of nine colors plus half tones and each is equipped with a in-line curing and tentering. We also have a Finishing Range for tinting light to medium shades and for applying many types of finishes. We have extensive experience in pattern lay-out and are abreast with the latest screen making techniques involving color toning and fine detail engraving. We also offer a large library of patterns already on screens available for immediate printing.
