About The Spine Center

The Spine Center, Lansing Neurosurgery's sister facility, is an "all in one" option for pain treatment. Board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians collaborate with physical therapists and massage and acupuncture providers to offer rehabilitation, sports medicine, physical therapy, pain management, spinal injections, massage and acupuncture.

The Spine Center features 10,000 square feet of physical therapy space, a large heated pool for aquatic therapy and an on-site pain treatment facility where our physicians perform injections to alleviate pain and conduct EMG tests to diagnose nerve injuries and disorders.

About Christina Richardson, DO

Dr. Richardson is from the Detroit area, where her grandfather was an osteopathic physician. Being raised in the tradition of holistic medicine inspired her to pursue a career as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician. She offers a comprehensive, holistic approach to patient care. Her work at the Rehabilitation Institute in Chicago inspired her focus on a more functional, less narcotic approach to patient treatment. While there, she also won several teaching awards, conducted research and lectured on a variety of topics. Dr. Richardson especially enjoys working with patients who actively participate in their own recovery. She says, "It's amazing to be able to watch the heights to which a human spirit can rise to meet a challenge." Dr. Richardson treats patients with all forms of disability, acquired, genetic and traumatic. She looks forward to seeing The Spine Center become a comprehensive, holistic center for neuro-musculoskeletal excellence in Michigan.

Dr. Richardson enjoys skiing, biking, the beaches of Michigan and spending time with her family, friends and her dog.
