On this site seventeen methodologists declare their collective shift in emphasis from traditional software practice. This new focus, the manifesto, is cast as four priorities:
- Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
- Working software over comprehensive documentation
- Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
- Responding to change over following a plan
The site includes a less brief summary of principles and offers visitors the opportunity to endorse the manifesto. Recurring themes in the comments left with endorsements may be as interesting as the manifesto itself.
