CricketNext.Com recognises the fact that the medium allows ready interactivity. The interactive features include a daily poll question, celebrity chats and discussion boards besides encouraging cricketizens to express themselves by writing in their own columns.
Within days of the launch, CricketNext.Com, promoted by Pallavi and Sanjay Jha's company, Walchand CricketNext.com Limited announced the sponsorship of the prestigious ICC Cricket Week that climaxed with a game between Asia XI and Rest of the World XI in Dhaka on April 8 2000. The Government of Bangladesh conferred a special honour on Cricketnext.com by bringing out a Postal Stamp highlighting the website's role in development of cricket in that country.
