It can be practiced using specialised modern pyrography tools, or using a metal implement heated in a fire, or even sunlight concentrated with a magnifying lens.A large range of range of tones and shades can be achieved. Varying the type of tip used, the temperature, or the way the iron is applied to the material all create different effects.

Large to Extra Large Natural Edge Portrait, made from your image, photograph, etc. I take your Photograph and Create a Unique Wood Burnt Plaque.
The supplier can use Oil Pencils or Acrylic Paints for the color if you wish. It is usually best to limit the image to 1 - 3 colors. White looks very nice on these portraits.
This Plaque is limited to two Portraits/Faces. Additional Portraits/Faces are $15 each. Contact me to build a custom listing for you with additional faces.
