  On 12/29/07,after spending the holidays with my son and his family in Charlotte,Nc,I was anticipating returning to my home in Chattanooga, TN early Sunday, Dec. 30.

It was 5:30 PM, suddenly the engine belt began to shred.Not being familar with the area I didn't know what to do.My son remembered there was a Firestone store nearby.When we arrived the store manager infoormed me that I would have to leave my car since they were about to close for the day. The manager, Mr.Bill Spano expressed his regret that I would have to change my plans to return to Chattanooga, but his men had put in a long day and that the parts place would not be open until 11:00 AM Sunday.After making arrangements to return to my son's home I reconciled myself that I would have to delay my return to Chattanooga until Monday, 12/31/07.About Shortly after 7:PM I received a phone call from Mr.Spano telling me my car was ready

  When I arrived at his store Mr. Spano explained he had asked his mechanic to stay over so I could complete my scheduled return. I tried to pay Mr. Spano, Mr. Chris Droad and their mechanic for going beyond what was expected but they refused. In todays marketplace poor service has become almost commonplace, its a pleasant surprise to find there are still some who are willing to go beyoud  what is expected. I would appreciate your passing on to these gentlemen my expression of appreciation.
