About Us Garry Street Gallery is a boutique gallery offering fine original art by a select group of artists. The artists are personally known by gallery owner, Val Romanow. The artists represented by this gallery are professional, full-time artists. Each artist has their own unique style, but the common thread in their work is that it is from their heart and soul.

Our artists have their work in collections worldwide and are actively creating. We will be presenting new art on a regular basis. All art comes with full provenance.

Garry Street Gallery also offers art from Private Collections. This art includes both original work and limited edition lithographs. If you have a piece of art that you are interested in selling, or have an interest in a particular piece or artist, please let us know. Your privacy is protected at all times.
The gallery currently has limited edition lithographs from sold-out editions by both renowned Equine Artist, Fred Stone and Nature Artist, Robert Bateman. In addition, we have an original oil painting entitled "Khalinsky Landscape" by Russian Artist, Valentin Z. Purygin. Much of Purygin's artwork is the "Valentin Purygin Studio Museum" at the Samara Regional Art Museum in Western Russia.
About us: Owner, Val Romanow's background is investment and finance, with many years spent in San Francisco with Merrill Lynch, and in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada with both Pitfield McKay Ross and BMO Nesbitt Burns. Both as Investment Advisor and Branch Manager of the Winnipeg office of BMO Nesbitt Burns, she worked with colleagues and the public in positions of trust and privacy. She pledges to use the same care and concern with customers of Garry Street Gallery.
Val Romanow's love of art has been a lifelong affair. A self-taught artist herself, she has always recognized the amount of energy and devotion that artists put into their creations. With such an uncertain, fast-paced world, art offers a moment in time to enjoy beauty. Beauty has many faces and interpretations, but all art that is from the soul will move your spirit and cause one to reflect.
In 2007, she opened a boutique art gallery in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It became clear that doing business the traditional way was neither an efficient nor effective way to showcase her artists' work. After doing a tremendous amount of research, the physical gallery was closed (with some tears), and she chose to locate the gallery on Ruby Lane. Ruby Lane's attention to detail, the quality of their shops and the professionalism they display in all their dealings make them a joy for both shoppers and shopowners.
