Biography

Dr. Gillis is a licensed psychologist who has 12 years of healthcare experience in the academic and clinical hospital settings. She has completed a three-year fellowship in Sleep Medicine and also worked as a hospital-based Consultation Liaison Psychologist. She has published 5 articles in academic, peer-reviewed journals including the Annals of Behavioral Medicine and Pain Medicine.

Trained as a health psychologist and clinician, Dr. Gillis left an academic research and clinical pain management career to pursue management consulting. For three years she worked with RHR International, a 61-year old, Chicago-based consulting company helping Fortune 500 companies identify, evaluate and grow leaders. While at RHR, she provided Executive Assessment and Coaching services to leaders at Merck and Company, Steelcase, Best Buy, Johnson Controls, Dow Corning, Joy Global Mining and Machinery and others.

Dr. Gillis joined Plante & Moran in 2008, where, in addition to individual Executive Evaluation, Executive Coaching, and succession planning, Dr. Gillis puts her clinical skills to work developing high performing teams. She also conducts a number of educational workshops that help organizations grow leaders and manage change.
