The Federal Workforce Investment Act of 1998 requires states to have a list of training providers approved to provide training to individuals who are eligible to receive federal funds. Federal law calls this list the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL). In New Jersey, the State's Unified Plan for Workforce Investment requires that all training providers who expect to receive public funds must be included on the Eligible Training Provider List.
