Hi, I'm Randy Giles the developer of PaceAppraiser and the Velocity Generator. Thank you for coming by. Some of you may remember me from my old site, which I called Thoroughbred Racing with Randy Giles.
These days I play at home online. I use Extreme Pace Handicapping for the most part and I use the Velocity Generator every time I play. I've been using my own program for over eight years. The following definitions - that grew out of my research - contributed to the core concept that lead to the development of The Velocity Generator.
Hot Pace Horse: A horse that is coming out of a race where the "pace of the race" was 3 lengths faster than average for that particular final time.
