Description
School of Accounting and Management commenced operations in September 1984. By 1993, the school had expanded from the corner of Eastern Main Road, St. Augustine to numbers 1, 3 & 6 McCarthy Street. The school employs 120 Professional Lecturers and offers thirty (30) different courses in the areas of Accounting, Computer Studies, Business Administration, Marketing, First degrees in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Accounting & Financial Analysis, Marketing, Law and Computing, together with two (2) Masters in Business Administration in General Management and Project Management and the MSc in Strategic Business Information Systems.
The school's Founder/Director, Mr. Asaf Pirali is a Chartered and a Cost and Management Accountant. He also holds a Degree in Management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Management. He attended a “Sharing British Training Expertise” Fellowship Programme in England and Wales in 1981 conducted by the Institute of Personnel Management and the Industrial Training Institute. In 1988 he attended Advanced Leadership Training Programmes in Hawaii and Singapore.
In 1991 the School of Accounting and Management in association with Henley Management College and Brunel University (both in the U.K) commenced training for the Masters in Business Administration.
