Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Act 2010

Who must comply with the new 2010 ADA standards?
Public and private entities including pools operated by public parks, recreation districts, hotels, motels, fitness clubs, recreational sports clubs, country clubs, campground parks, high schools, universities, water parks, hospitals, and health care facilities. In general, if you provide a pool or spa for use to the general public or you provide a pool or spa to at a cost or through a membership, you are required to comply.
When are facilities required to comply?
The law went into effect March 15, 2011 and compliance is required by March 15, 2012. Be a leader in compliance and buy an ADA approved pool lift now to avoid long lead times as the deadline approaches.
What happens if I don't comply?
The ADA is a federal anti-discrimination law and as such, violations are addressed in the legal system. By not complying you are taking a risk of having someone file a complaint with the department of justice and possibly ending up in a lawsuit that could force you to make changes and possibly even assess fines of $55,000 and up to $100,000.
What is the best solution?
There really isn't a best solution; however, utilizing new technology can minimize the time and cost of ADA compliance. With this in mind, the best solution to accommodating the new ADA compliance laws would be to install a pool lift. Pool lifts are relatively inexpensive and offer the compliancy necessary to satisfy the new law. They also offer a cheaper means of complying to the law than to install ramps or other methods. All American Pool and Spas are specialists in ADA compliancy and in pool lifts. There technicians take minimal time in the installation process and assure that pools are ADA approved.

Virginia Graeme Baker Act (P&SS Act)

Licensed Number C53 543627, Bonded, and Insured

The license number is composed of two parts. The first part, C53, is the type of license that we hold. The C53 license is a swimming pool contractor's license. This grants us the ability to build swimming pools, spas, and other similar projects.
The second part of the license number is All American Pool & Spa's specific license holding. If you follow the link below, you will be redirected to the California Contractors State License Board where you will find the license number 543627 in good standing. This is our way of saying that we follow through where others do not. Feel free to check us out at the California State Contractors Board.      Along with proper licensing, All American Pool and Spas is bonded and insured. Bonding and insurance is important because it provides you with the security of knowing that if something happens, it is all taken care of.
