Entertainment-Education-Information From One Kid To Another

When television broadcast collides with the internet, the result is an upbeat, multimedia-rich site like Global Broadcast 4 Kids. Learn, laugh, listen, share and play online with Global Broadcast 4 Kids, the only online network devoted exclusively to kids and teens. The whole network is basically run by kids who share info and entertainment that THEY WANT TO SHARE. Everything about GBK is delivered “from one kid to another” with the philosophy that we make life what we choose to make it and that information is as important as having fun. GBK covers topics in a cool way, never forgetting that subjects, like history, science, entertainment, music, and news can be snapilicious, (okay we made that word up, but we talked it over and we think it works)

The site is a brainchild of Scott McGinnis whose 20+ years of experience in the motion picture and television industries inspired him to produce a TV show-Web channel for kids. Children are able to learn more about the ever changing world in a fun and entertaining format. He knows what he’s doing, but he also knows that Kids are smart enough to enjoy programming that is important and fun, silly and relevant, global and local. We want it all (he gets that), and we want it to sound like us.

The beauty of the website is that young journalists--aged 5-16, teach other kids about history and science. Kids can check out reviews of the latest books and have an on-the-scene view of the latest movie world premiers.

Global Broadcast 4 Kids helps kids learn about green living, with Global Green 4 Kids and Big Daddy Green, two "channels" dedicated to teaching environmentally-friendly habits and practices.
