Overview of Jancy Engineering Inc. Jancy Engineering was founded in 1957 by Jack Wiedeman and Ben Rowley. Initially, the company’s only product was the Roto-Bor, a sheet metal cutter. The product line expanded in the late 1970s with the addition of portable magnetic drills, and a few years later Jancy began offering tools for cutting holes in thicker materials.
