A short beautiful life of a talented, intelligent,compassionate and caring son, brother and friend, who brought joy to so many people. John committed suicide by hanging, in the early hours ofSunday 15th June 2008. He was discovered by his younger brother Gareth. John's death came at the end of a most harrowing year. He was arrested in August 2007 and charged with the rape of another man. The alleged victim said that he he was unaware he had been raped, until his "friend" told him! But his "friend" who turned up at an appropriate moment, said he witnessed the assault, although he was only "pretty sure.". It was eight days later that they decided to tell the police, after the "friend" had spent a week, constructing his story on his computer. The alleged witness said that he was "going to ruin John's life". The Metropolitan Police accepted these false, malicious allegations without question even though their 'Star witness' was known to the police.[[Category:]]
