Minnesota has a great variety of wilderness landscapes and wildflowers which outdoors enthusiasts will appreciate. Much of this is readily accessible in our parks and trails across the state. A favorite area in northern Minnesota lies along the 'North Shore' of Lake Superior, and includes much of the Superior Hiking Trail, as well as eight of our sixty-five State Parks. A very diverse, and often unique, variety of wonderful wildflowers are to be found growing in many places here.
