Arabic sites for speakers and learners

This is a list of sites for both Arabic speakers and those non-Arabic speakers interested in the Arabic world or in learning the Arabic language. If you're interested in learning Arabic, you will find sites that teach Arabic for free, and a few that charge subscription fees. If you want to stay updated on events in the the Middle East and North Africa, you'll find news sites in both Arabic and English on the Arabic list. If you're an Arabic speaker looking for entertainment, you'll find some great music and flash games sites, and a couple of sites with football news and stats.
