Bethlehem, city of David

Located in the Middle East in Palestine on the west bank, Bethlehem is a city with a historic tradition. Held to be the birth place of Christ and the ancient Israeli king David Bethlehem hold a sacred and spiritual atmosphere to itself. In the last thousand years it has been a city of contention first between the Christians and Muslims during the crusades and more recently between the Israeli government and the people of Palestine. The following list consists of sites dedicated to the ancient and recent history of the city of Bethlehem and the people that live in it.
