A desktop computer is generally a stationary computer system for home or office use. Consisting of a tower, a keyboard, a mouse, a monitor and speakers a desktop computer is a much less mobile alternative to a laptop. However, a desktop computer does have its advantages: desktop computers are usually cheaper for the same amount of power, they offer more customization, and desktop computers are more powerful at a similar price point.
