Somewhere in the land of art, between fine art and function, lies the land of design. Designers reside in this mysterious and magical land, creating the beautiful things that most of us take for granted. A bag of chips, a pack of soda, the soap you wash your hands with, the newspaper or magazine your read...it was all done by designers. The life of a designer is not an easy one. First you must go through at least 4 years of brutal and competitive college and fight your peers to the death, lest their typography be better than yours. A designer needs to have the delicate touch of a painter with the rough observant qualities of an architect. They're a rare breed.
