Fair Trade is more than just fair

In a world economy wrought with difficulties and scandal, we need something to count on. Fair Trade is where it's at. Fair Trade is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. Trading Fair. Back in the day, when ships and pirates roamed the seas and spices and metals were traded between countries as a means to stimulate economies and nations and promote good standing between rulers...trading wasn't that fair. Bargaining for lowest price and slave labour were involved. But Fair Trade is now what we're aiming for, in a complicated and difficult world. Pay the best price, treat workers well, and trade fairly.
