Lindy Hop is a form of swing dancing that was created and evolved during the 1920's in the United States. It is a combination of many types of dances that preceded it, including the Charleston, jazz, tap and breakaway. The Lindy Hop has so many variations that it can be danced solo or with a partner. During the late 1930's the dance began to popularize and air moves, called aerials, were incorporated. Today a swing dance fever is spreading across the nation as city to city "exchanges" and classes are held to keep the spirit alive. If you are looking for one of these exchanges or just want some more information the list below is sure to help.
