The boss, the head honcho, the big cheese. In a word: Management. They're the people you love to hate, unless you are part of the management team. Management, whether in business or daily life is necessary to the smooth functioning of any institution or organization. Good management is valuable above all, as a ship cannot function well without its captain, an organization isn't healthy for long without good management. A boss can make or break a company, much more so than lowly employees. Even if you have no employees, and you're the only management.
