Covering over seventy percent of the earth’s surface, the ocean is the largest ecosystem on in the world. The ocean consists of billions of living animals and organisms; it is also home many different types of plant life as well. Many cultures get their food from the ocean, many of the fish and plants provide ample nutrition for a variety of people groups. The following list was created as a collection of sites regarding the ocean and the study of its ecology, geology as well as land masses around and surrounding the ocean.
