PDA-Personal Digital Assistant

A personal digital assistant or PDA as it is commanly referred to is a HandHeld computer which is also called a PalmTop. PDAs these days have the audio and visual capabilities, enabling them to be used as mobile phone devices. Thus making it a powerful device capable of communication, organization, web browsing and playing media files. Many PDAs can access the Internet, intranets or extranets via Wi-Fi, or Wireless Wide-Area Networks (WWANs). PDAs usually employ touch screen technology.
