- Manel Jayasena, my wife for 42 yeras died on the 24th of July, 2004 due to complications arising from chronic renal failure. Needless to say we tried to save her until the very last moment. Lots of our friends, including perhaps you, entering this web-site, contributed most generously for her medical expenses, which the family alone, could never have met. I thank you once again for your kindness towards Manel and myself.
