Originally founded by the city fathers in 1922, Oregon City Golf Club at Lone Oak was transformed into a 9-hole course from the farmland and orchards known as Owned and operated by the Herberger family since 1949, Joe and May Rose raised their six children on the course itself, instilling in them a profound devotion to the family business. In 1960, a second nine was added, creating an 18-hole, 5872 yard course situated on over 100 acres of gently rolling terrain with picturesque views.
