Redirect

Redirects are used to forward users from one page name to another. There are several reasons to do a redirect.

  • Among them are the fact that many websites will have automatic redirects for several registered domain names.
  • Sometimes with a popular website, we just may want a handy reference to the site, i.e. Wikipedia instead of Wikipedia.org.
  • Redirect sites that have mirror duplicate content! Please redirect secondary to primary domain.

Edit the article that you wish to redirect and replace the whole page with:

#redirect [[NewDesinationDomain.foo]]

Subsitute NewDesinationDomain.foo with the new URL

If WhatRedirectsHere is too loaded with pages, try this handy URL hack:

aboutus.org/EXAMPLE.COM?redirect=no&action=view
