Residents for Responsible Development (‘RFRD’) is a group of concerned neighbors residing in Corona Del Mar and Newport Beach. This group supports the General Plan and the Coastal Land Use Plan (‘CLUP’) drafted and passed by the City of Newport Beach to regulate and oversee development within the city. The CLUP has within it specific provisions to protect our City’s coastal bluffs and to keep new developments within the character of existing neighborhoods.
