St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness (SLOCA) is a not-for-profit organization founded in June 2002 by seven women who share the passion to educate the public about ovarian cancer and extend support to those women who are battling the disease. SLOCA is staffed by volunteers who donate time, money and support to educate the public, and who sponsor forums with leading experts on issues, such as, symptoms, diagnostic procedures, treatment, clinical trials, genetic counseling information and research.
