ScoopMill.com started as an off-handed comment when Jane and her family moved to Fort Mill, South Carolina. She felt that Fort Mill and the surrounding area was in need of a website that would report on local happenings and allow the residents and visitors to provide commentary. The idea languished for a couple years, until Jane finally decided to move forward with what has now become ScoopMill.
